Not able to decide between the 2 mentioned cameras . I want to gift this to my wife who knows very much about photography. Kindly suggest

Both are pretty much similar   p530 should be good, launched after year and half of p510. has better battery backup and is more value for money. For additional 5k for p510 light sensitivity is 1 f-stop better and you get GPS capability.
