Low Budget Camera With Good Quality Images Under Rs 8000

Hello evrybody, I was about to buy Sony DSC W830 but again I got confused. I saw Olympus SZ-17 and Nikon Coolpix S7000. I'm really confused. Please help me with the best camera. I think you guys are experienced member in this field so whatsoever you suggest I'll go for that. One out of these three or some other one under Rs 8000. Please help me.

Hi  go with Nikon CoolPix S7000   it has higher iso rating and also has same size sensor as the other 2. it also has the highest shutter speed meaning it will take lot less blurry action shots compared to the other two.

Thank you very much Siddhy. I'll go for Nikon Coolpix S7000. One question I want to ask just to know is that what is the difference between CCD and CMOS in simple language. What difference these two makes in the image quality ? Thank you in advance.

They are two different technologies. CMOS perform better in normal usage and lighting and CCD are focused towards areas with lower light and at this price ranges CMOS are better.

Thank you Siddhy. You helped me a lot.

Good Digital Camera

Which one should choose from canon ixus 155,canon sx400 IS,canon ixus 265 hs and nikon coolpix s7000 ?

Nikon CoolPix S7000  it has more ISO Rating, more Optical Zoom than the devices mentioned above. Hence my recommendation will go with this device.

Urgent : Best Camera Around Rs.8000 For Jewellery Photography

Thanks Abhinav for your advice earlier. Let me be more specific. I need it for jewellery and watch photography for Ecommerce. I was using my smartphone camera till now. It was somewhat fine. I need a dedicated device now, which should be easy to handle by my office staff. Lets say budget less than or around Rs.5000-8000. Plz give me a couple of suggestions, one within my budget, and one as per your personal choice. Is there a number i can call you on. I need conclude my decision now. Your site has been very helpful till now.

In your budget, you should buy Canon PowerShot SX400 IS  Which isn't rich in features but has 30x optical zoom and very good auto mode to aid casual photographers.

Hi Winni, so now you budget is close to 8000 INR, then I would like to suggets you with Canon IXUS 500 HS  . It has better display resolution and better Optical zoom than the options discussed previously. The parameters metioned by you in the previous question like manual focus, white balance etc. can be altered while taking the photos from your camera. You can also edit those parameter in photoshop once the images have been taken.

THANKS ABHINAV & DEEPAK.After lot of confusions and suggestions, i have concluded on NIKON COOLPIX S7000. I hope its a good choice.Plz let me know if im taking a wrong decision.

Thats even a better option. I would have suggested you this, if I would have known that you could extend your budget upto 10k. Great Choice!! Go for it.

Good to hear that Abhinav. I just bought it now. It looks beutiful and zooming is awesome. I need some advice on how to setup the camera(what mode and settings) and what arrangements(lightings, background, etc) are required for a simple diamond jewellery and watch product shoot.
