Sony CyberShot DSC RX100 III

Budget 46000/-

Hi S K Jain,  The Sony CyberShot DSC RX100 3  sports a high resolution of 21MPhigh ISO rating of 25600(higher than its predecessor RX100 II) which will help in low-light situations, 1" CMOS sensor and also also supports high image resolution. Supports HDMI and Wi-Fi compatibility. Boasts a maximum aperture of f2.8 at the widest angle setting giving you images with more focussing power.

Advanced Point And Shoot Camera

Hi Team, i wan to buy an advance point and shoot camera with manual adjustments (optional) in the budget of 25K (INR) . Can you please suggest the best options

Hi Sharan, You can go with the Sony Cybershot DSC HX400V   Has a higher resolution of 21.1MP, high ISO rating of 12800 which will help in low-light situations, optical zoom of 50x which will offer distortion-free images. It is very quick when it comes to the focussing and exposure part. Boasts a maximum aperture of f2.8 at the widest angle setting giving you images with more focussing power.

Hi Manish ,Thank you for your advise. I need you inputs on couple of my short listed compact cameras 1. Sony RX100 & HX90V 2. canon powershot SX710 HS 3. nikon coolpix S9900 & P7800

Hi Sharan,  I wanted to suggest you the RX100 initially. The only downside to this model in comaprison to the HX400V is that it doesn't have viewfinder, external flash and a low optical zoom of only 3.6 The HX90 v has no external flash, less camera resolution, low optical zoom

Among all the models that you have mentioned, only the Sony RX100 stands out for its important features.

Thank you your verdict will be Sony HX400V or R100 . Or will suggest any others in the compact cameras as the HX4000V seems to be is slightly bulky

Hi Sharan, Go with either of the two. Or else if you are willing to increase your budget, then you can also look at the successor to the RX100 -  Sony CyberShot DSC RX100 2

Sony Rx 100 Or DSLR

I am confused between sony rx100 and entry level DSLR. Please advice.

That's rather a personal choice, depends on your usage and how comfortable you are in terms of using DSLR and how much do you understand lenses and stuff.
