A Gaming Laptop Around INR 80000
Sir,Im looking for a gaming laptop of cost around INR 80000.Priority would be GPU,Processing, Displaay and RAM.Should i go with Lenovo y50-70 or some HP models.Brand preference is Dell or Lenovo but not strictly.I just am looming for the best at the price range
Lenovo Y50-70 is a bang for the buck. The laptop has high end specifications according to your need and also fits in your budget.
Abhinav Singh,That overshots my budget
Hitesh, You can have the laptop at Rs. 75,000 on many online portals.
I'm reluctant on buying Lenovo y50 since i heard its display is not upto mark(TN)Plz advise me on this..I don't wanna do professional editing on it but gaming.
If there is no other viable option, then only I'll opt for y50-70.I just heard somewhere that MSI and Asus alos have good laptops at this price range but don't know bout their after sales service.Hence, i focusing on Lenovo or Dell.
I will still recommend getting Lenovo.
Bro,Have u used Lenovo products,Plz tel me bout thier after sales support
Here at my place they even provide pick and drop facility. Service is good. You can check reviews at your local place.
Thnx so much Bro,Its Lenovo y50-70 decided
I heard that a newer version of Lenovo y50 with Gtx 960m came out in US and is about to come in India.Anyone any news on the release date?
Hitesh Manoj I am also looking for a gaming laptop with a similar budget. I have narrowed down ASUS-G551JX-DM036H (ROG Series-Gaming Laptop) available for 81k at flipkart with gtx 960m gpu, 16gb ramLenovo y50 70 4417908 (75k at showrooms) but ive heard the screen is NOT GOOD (tn panel has bad colors and viewing angles, not suitable for a gaming laptop right?)and few others but they are crossing my budget. I dont know if I should wait for newer models as I am getting impatient
Gerard David,,I also looked into the Asus model you mentioned but i heard that their after sales support is not quite good (especially @ my place). So i decided to go with Lenovo and their newer model has IPS display which solves the display issue and considerable improvement in GPU.I have decided to wait for the newer model of Y50(Going to talk to their sales Representative today).I suggest you to also wait for it if you are not in a hurry.
Hitesh Manoj can you mention the exact model of the new Lenovo Y50?Also does it have gtx 960m gpu and intel i7 4720hq processor?Asus has good build quality and screen is LED, which is important for gaming right? Alsoit is important that you check if your new laptop has gtx 960m minimum and i7 4720hq as these are the latest released for budget gaming laptops this year.gtx 860m is last year model and showrooms are still charging the same price witouht reducing it even though newer models are available
Gerard David,Check this out bro, http://laptopmedia.com/review/lenovo-y50-gtx-960m-review-the-slimmed-down-powerhouse-got-even-better/
In this price range 80k for gaming purpose only u can buy a 4k TV and a PlayStation...! lol
Kumaresh,Maybe you are used to carrying around a 4KTV and PlayStation in your bag .,Do enlighten us on how you achieve that feat.
Lol. Dude Hitesh, I just visited lenovo showroom. They said that the y 50 model has too many issues. It seems screws are not even used in the panel, it's just "stitched together" his words. He said whenever they complain about the laptop if it's Within warranty period they replace with a new unit instead of any repairs. I think you should second consider your options bro. Not to deter you, but since we want to buy the best laptop for 80k which is quite a sum of money, and also want it to last for atleast 2-3 years.. Just double check with your lenovo guy, get the actual model and test it's quality before settling. This guy over here didn't have a display model so I can't say for sure..
Cool. What did he say? I'm not able to find this new y 50 online in India. It's not even updated on lenovo India website.
At frst, the guy couldn't even understand what laptop i was talking about. After tat he told me he'll infrm by the evening.Nt heard from them since
Yeah unless you specifically say you want the new model they will try to sell you the older models. Anyway, looks like it will take more time to be available over here. Seriously man can't wait. But I'm sure once we buy this "dream laptop" in 2 or 3 months definite something better is gonna come and we'll be hitting out heads
Ya,the day we buy this and the next day a better one is gonna out. It'll never stop. But,i just want to get my hands on this one.All da bst bro.Be sure to inform me when it's out
Okay dude. But I'm also gonna wait for the asus similar spec model just for comparison sake. Don't wanna rush up and regret later right. Stay in touch, let me know which one you settle for and we'll give a good review
