Whenever Apple lands up at any tech event, expectations of the users and the media group reaches the top of the hill. This time at WWDC, there were huge expectations for a new iMac and or a totally new MacBook but then there were additions which were made on the previous release of MacBook Pro. They have introduced the retina display in this new series of MacBook Pro and they have made it thinner to 0.71 inches it’s like a hybrid of previous MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. Still it does not have any optical drive and this is the lightest and thinnest MacBook Pro ever built.
Apart from this new product, iOS upgrade iOS 6 has been unveiled many iPhone and iPad lovers have been waiting for this update as this time Google Maps will be replaced by Apple Maps tool. Google Maps, at present is the most reliable maps service all over the world and so this simply means that Apple Maps application will be rated at a very high level. Though you will not find Google Maps already available on your iOS but as expected you will be able to install that for free from your App Store. Another point specified for this iOS was the close involvement of Facebook application on iPhone applications as it was done previously with Twitter. This is not all 200 features have been introduced this time, 2 of them have been mentioned above and few of them are like availability of ‘Facetime’ feature over mobile network, rejecting someone’s call with a message or getting reminded automatically when you miss a call and more like these.
Again for all the iPhone 4S owners, Siri will get upgraded, now it will be able to open new applications, understand more languages and it can be used more number of countries. Siri can also be used on the new iPad. New version of OS X was also unveiled which was named ‘Mountain Lion’ with its cost ($19.99 USD) and release date (July, 2012).
