It is not a big secret that RIM is going to revamp their whole BlackBerry device line-up. This also includes their aging OS. In November, RIM had announced that they will launch their new BlackBerry devices on 30 of January 2013. Now they have sent out the official media invites. The launch is to be held in New York.
The devices expected to be launched at the event are the BlackBerry L and N series. The L-series device is reported to be an all-touch smartphone, whereas the N-series will come with BlackBerry’s classic QWERTY keyboard. The devices are not basically a secret, since there have been leaked pictures going around the internet and BlackBerry has also given some of them out for testing. The new devices will run the latest BlackBerry 10 OS, which was shown to the world in May. The new OS will come with a new platform-wide flow interface, a new intelligent keyboard, as well as a camera app which allows the user to adjust a portrait by moving through time to optimize picture quality. But, the new OS still under testing. A walk through of the new OS after the break.
