Huawei Ascend P1: India’s First 4G LTE Phone

It has been quite sometime since 4G fever has gripped people around the world. Even people in kolkata and bangalore have 4G access courtesy of Airtel. But not many have used it, mainly because Airtel restricts 4G use to its dongles. So here is some good news for people who want 4G speed on the move. Huawei in partnership with Airtel have launched Ascend P1, which can be called India’s first smartphone with access to 4G.

The Ascend P1 comes with a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display with Gorilla Glass to protect it. Under the hood, it has a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with built-in Adreno 225 GPU. It comes with 1GB RAM, 4GB internal Storage and an 8MP cam with dual flash. It runs on Android 4.0 ICS.

The price of the device is not out yet. But will be announced in the coming weeks.

The device does not come locked to Airtel. But with Airtel being the only 4G provider, you have no other choice.
