Is Nokia Lumia 900 Worth Buying?

When Nokia released the new Nokia Lumia 900 on June 2012, it stormed the market with an amazing hype. This made an announcement within itself that the new revolution for Nokia in the smart phone industry is on. Nokia is well known for it’s awesome design and sturdy body. But that’s not it, it’s battery back up is something which makes it more buyer friendly. Along with the body even it’s windows 7.5 OS is catchy.

Lets go through some features of Nokia Lumia 900.
This model of Nokia comes up with 8MP camera with dual LED flash and 3x zoom facility to click the pictures with ease and clarity. Not only extra clear pictures but it’s different photo modes gives all the more reasons to the photo lovers to go for it. It’s front camera comes with 1MP which gives a good video calling experience using 3G.

Nokia Lumia 900 comes with 4.3 inches AMOLED screen with corning gorilla glass which adds up to it’s toughness and unbreakable feature. This feature makes it more special and better compared to other smart phones without gorilla glass. Thus adds up to the name Nokia is known for “TUFFNESS”.

The previous lumia series came with 8GB in built data storage capacity without extendable memory which acted as one of the weak side. Lumia 900 also came out without expendable memory but this time it’s in built capacity is 16GB. This means more data storage space, more songs, video’s to store and more photo’s to click keeping it’s weakness way behind. But to be on the safer side we can store the whole backup of our cell on Zune.

Lumia 900 has 1.4 GHz processor which makes the concept of multitasking faster and smoother. The Xbox games can be played smoothly without any fear of the phone crashing or getting hung.

The new City Lens application developed by Nokia gives it an edge over the Google maps. Nokia maps were considered better than Google maps but City Lens is like putting a cherry on the top to its, what we thought, already amazing map feature.

Most of the features are already present on 710 and 810 with only little advancements in hardware comparatively. We are not being made to see any thing new than what we have already seen in 900’s younger siblings. Thus looking at the price of this cell doesn’t convince me that its a good bargain to spend 10k more for just few notches of improvement. My verdict is if you are not worried about the price of Nokia Lumia, you should go for it otherwise you can pay less and go for 710 and 810.
