Micromax has launched its new mid segment device Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 for INR 12,999. This device has increased the heat of competition in mid segment smartphones. Soon after the launch on Motorola’s Moto G 2nd Gen, Micromax made its move to unveil its Canvas Nitro that comes at the same price tag. This is not the first time Micromax made this move; it followed the same process when it launched its Unite 2 handset soon after Moto E with improved specifications.
Just as Motorola decided to sell its devices via Flipkart; Micromax decided to sell Micromax Canvas Nitro exclusively on Snapdeal. Interestingly, the dual-SIM smartphone is designed with the faux leather back just like Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones.
Processor and Screen: Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 features a 5 inches HD 720p IPS display with oleophobic coating. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa Core MediaTek processor, coupled with 2 GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Gaming on this device is supported by Quad core ARM mali 450@700MHz GPU. These are fuelled with a 2500 mAh battery.
Camera and Imaging: Canvas Nitro boasts a 13 MP Rear camera with Largan 5P Lens, with Schott Blue Glass filter and Sony IMX135 CMOS sensor. It has a 5 MP Front camera with fixed focus. This is great for taking selfie and video chatting.
It comes with 8 GB internal Memory that can be expanded upto 32 GB using a micro SD card. This device will be available in Blue and White color. This has increased the competition bar for devices like Moto G 2nd Gen, Xiaomi Mi3, HTC Desire 516 etc. See a quick comparison of these devices.
