New models of Nexus 7 tablet soon to be out. Yes folks you heard it right, Google and Asus are planning to introduce more models of the modestly priced Nexus 7 tablet to the markets.

A Chinese Forum called VR-Zone spotted a listing with Taiwan’s National Communications Commission that detailed testing of an Asus made 32 GB storage capacity bearing Nexus 7 tablet with 3G UMTS being tested. This particular model ME370TG has a local Taiwanese brand name of Asus Pad.

The current Nexus 7 tablet has a 7-inch HD touchscreen display supporting 1280×800 pixel resolution. Bagging 1 GB RAM, the Nexus 7 is equipped with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor. The built in hard ware is all set to support Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean latest update without any issues. It has a primary 1.2 megapixel camera in the front which can record 720p HD videos too apart from supporting video chats.

Asus’s unbeatable 4325 mAh battery gives a life time of 10 hours at the least. Currently there are 8GB,16GB storage options for the Nexus 7 with a 32 GB tab soon to join its siblings at almost for a similar price.

At this moment, 8 GB model of the Nexus 7 is being sold for $200 (Rs 10,600 approximately) while the 16 GB model is being sold for $249 (Rs 13, 250 approximately). Meanwhile we can expect the new 32 GB Nexus 7 with 3G support to cost around $250-$300 (Rs 13,250-Rs 15,900) which is still a sweet spot for the tablet.

The Nexus tablets are rumoured to be reaching Indian shores officially after September. However they are made available online through couple of online shopping destinations at different price points.
