Sony has announced their new Xperia device: the Xperia E. The new Xperia will sport a 3.5inch HVGA 320 x 480 display and will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It will have a 1GHz processor and a 1500mAh battery. According to Sony, the Xperia E will have data usage monitoring and battery power management software pre-installed, to help save data usage cost and also extend battery life. The data usage monitor will disable data connections if the screen has been asleep for a few minutes. In Sony’s words, “Xperia E is a compact and competitively priced smartphone that is engineered for simplicity”. But Sony hasn’t provided any information on the price yet. The Xperia E will also have a dual SIM version called Xperia E dual. Both the Xperia E and E dual are stated to be launched in Q1 2013 and, will come in Black, White and Pink.
