Twitter is all newly equipped with ‘photo and video’ preview options.

Good news for all tweeting birds! The latest update released by the popular micro-bogging social site enables its official app to preview photos, videos and articles in the Twitter stream itself. This updated app is available for both Android and iOS softwares. Contextual tweets are no longer to be seen on the stream.


These new features include highlighting the photos, videos and the news shared on the Twitter. The update has been made available on the respective app stores. Now you can directly preview article summaries and photos in both Search and Discover without actually tapping on them.

Twitter has also added the ‘Discover tab’ in the app which lets you to discover popular tweets. It is very much similar to the one on the website. Also the “View all Tweets” button brings to you a stream of storied and photos shared by your network people.

The app has been updated to provide better aesthetic appeal by improvising upon the audio-visual streams. It has a built-in support to view the articles in-line and the photos and videos can be viewed in timeline streams. The tweets will also show article previews by default.

Search has also been modified to provide photo and video search results at the top of the search results. Also you can find a tailored-search engine which helps you to understand the importance of a specific tweet.
