HTC has been on somewhat of a launch spree within the country, with multiple additions to its budget to mid-range lineup. Their latest offering comes in the form of the Desire 626 Dual SIM, with a price tag of Rs. 14,990/-.
With decent specifications, it might not be a game changer in the budget segment, but the Desire 626 might pique some interest in HTC fanboys, and in this piece we take a look at all that this phone has to offer.
The HTC Desire 626 features a 5-inch display at the front which has a resolution of 1,280 x 720. The processor underneath the hood is a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor, and the memory capabilities include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which can be further expanded to 32GB via MicroSD cards.
In the optics department, the main camera has a resolution of 13MP with additional features such as a BSI sensor and f/2.2 aperture and a 28mm lens. The front facing snapper has a resolution of 5MP with a BSI sensor. Other camera features include scene detection, smile shot, best shot and others such as panorama and geotagging.
The device is a dual SIM device, which supports 4G LTE speeds and a host of other connectivity features. The OS onboard is presumed to be Android 5.1 Lollipop with HTC’s own SenseUI layered over. The battery on the device has a capacity of 2,000mAh.
PRICING AND SALE:
The HTC Desire 626 will be available in two colour variants: Blue Lagoon and White Birch. It will be sold at Rs. 14,990/- and should be available with major online and offline sellers within the coming week.
