After the grand success of Micromax Canvas HD every one was eager to know what micromax is going to bring in it's next update. Micromax Canvas 4 is the new player in the team Micromax Canvas which will steal your heart with amazing features that too at a very low price range. Not only the basic features like camera and body are improved but this time the applications like roving eyes and blow to open will keep you startled and make you more eager to know what more features are stored in the Canvas 4 for you.
Design And Build:
The Stylish metallic Canvas sports curved edges and a curved back that make it convenient to hold and a 3.5 mm audio jack is packed sleekly into the body. Micromax has done something different with it's back panel giving it a full metal finish. Earlier other phones of micromax had plastic backpanel which gave the feel of cheap plastic, may shatter into pieces if you drop the phone accidently. Also the camera lens is not bulging out at the back which gave a wierd sad look to the back part of the phone like it's predecessor Canvas HD. The camera is set at the top left corner of the back panel.
The 13 MP camera with dual LED is an amazing part which raises the value of Micromax canvas 4. Manual touch focus is a plus point and the camera is better than the one used in Canvas HD . All the cons which were present in Canvas HD have been tried to be removed completely in Micromax Canvas 4. Also not just the rear but micromax have also worked on front camera which has 5 MP of resolution which is really better than most of the smartphones in the market. It contains the roving eyes feature which allows you to pause the video as soon as you look away from screen.
The phone's 5 inch HD IPS screen sports a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a colour depth of 16.7 million. Thanks to the higher resolution, text, icons and images look much sharper compared to the Canvas 2 and Canvas HD. The HD display makes it very pleasurable to watch HD movies and play HD games on the Micromax Canvas 4.
Micromax Canvas 4 has a quad-core MediaTek MTK 6589 processor which is very good but it cannot be compared to the high end smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S4 or Xperia Z . Gaming and UI works smoothly without any lags. The Micromax Canvas 4 runs Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) which gives it a fast and smooth interface.
Power On It:
Micromax Canvas 4 packs a 2000 mAh battery which has an amazing standby time and talktime for a smartphone. You will not have to keep the charger along your side if you want to make the full use of HD gaming and watch movies on your Canvas 4.
Ultimately the Micromax Canvas 4 is a decent performer on all fronts and considering its low price is a definite good buy.
