With the release of Lumia range of smartphones in the market Nokia made an amazing come back in the market. Among these range of lumia series is Nokia Lumia 620. Still a dual-core Windows 8 phone with front and rear cameras, the 620 isn't as stacked with high-end features as its fellows from the Lumia flagship line. But as a midrange smartphone Nokia lumia 620 bags some decent features to make a list of one of the popular smartphones in the market.
Design And Build:
Available in vibrant colours, signature to the series, the bar-shaped phone has all physical buttons on the right side, which include the volume rocker, the power button and a dedicated camera button. The 3.5 mm audio jack sits on top while the micro USB port lies on the bottom of the phone. The candy bar design of the phone makes it really easy to grasp with one hand.
The Lumia 620 has a 5 MP primary camera with 4x digital zoom and LED flash. You also have a secondary camera which can be used for video calling and HD video recording. Lumia 620's camera app is loaded with the features like Touch Focus, Auto and Manual White Balance, Geo-tagging and Image Editor.
The 3.8 inch WVGA display on the Lumia 620, which is slightly larger than the 3.7 inch display of the Lumia 610, is of the TFT LCD type and has the impressive Clear Black Display coating from Nokia. Since this is a LCD unit, like the majority, this too has the proper RGB stripe making the display look crisp and nice, with decent pixel density. The clear black coating adds a polarizing layer on top to make outdoor visibility better and clearer, and adding to that, deep blacks, which makes WP8's black based UI look great.
With the 1 GHz Qualcomm Krait Dual Core Processor and the attractive Windows Phone 8 OS, the Lumia 620 is a no-nonsense phone that gives you excellent performance. The Lumia 620 is nothing like its predecessor and is a good performer.
Power On It:
A 1300 mAh battery powers the Nokia Lumia 620 giving you up to 14 hours of talktime on 2G and up to 9 hours on 3G. You also enjoy up to 330 hours of standby time on the 3G network.
The Nokia Lumia 620 is a great device in this price range. It has great build quality, a great display, an above average camera, really loud speakers, and performs great too, but the software is a weak point if you are looking for lots of apps and games. But if you are looking for a Windows phone 8 device and don't want to invest a lot, then this might be the most complete device you can get for the price.
