Following the footsteps of the Samsung Galaxy S6 design language of all Glass and metal the Galaxy A7 2016 has good design mostly generic samsung design but with great build quality.
Phone feels great in hand and premium with minimal bezels and doesn’t feel that large even with its 5.5 inch screen.
There is a Fingerprint scanner on the device and its nothing to boast about since its slow and not as accurate even compared to lot of 10 to 12k devices.
Device also lacks LED notification which is again a price cutting measure from Samsung which is unacceptable at this price range along with their omission of a Gyro sensor which makes this device unusable with VR headsets.
The phone has a 5.5 inch Super Amoled display. The viewing angles are great and the display is bright allowing easy usage in bright conditions.
Its great to see samsung use the Super Amoled panels in their new mid range devices.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 2016 is powered by Samsung Exynos 7 7580 which is a pretyt sub par chipset considering the price the games aren’t handled well at all thanks to the 1080p screen and device can barely handle at this price point i see no reason for a device to have such weak internals and its really hard to justify buying this at all considering the Galaxy S6 currently costs just another 2 to 3 thousand rupees more and is arguably one of the best devices in the market.
The 3300 mAh battery on the Galaxy A7 2016 ensures that its one of the best features of the phone along with fast charging.
The Device charges quite fast and lasts all day even for some of the heaviest users.
The Camera on the device is 13 Megapixel camera on the back and 5 Mp on the back both of which are moderate and above average but its quite a let down considering the price point of this phone which is competing with flagship devices like LG G4 and Samsungs own Galaxy s6.
The Device runs their own latest Samsung Touchwiz skin on top of Android.
Devices with most features of touchwiz but performance is quite subpar thanks to the under powered chipset and there is really nothing specially or good that we can talk about.
Phone is suppose to be a mid range device and cuts a lot of corners even if u compare it against other budget devices sub 15k.
Considering the price point of this device its very hard to justify the device based on specifications and performance and there should be really gives us almost zero reasons to recommend this device at this price point when u you can get so many 2015 flagship devices at similar prices.
