Design And Build:
The Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo on the first glance looks like a pebble. This pebble shaped smartphone is made up of normal plastic like the other smartphones of samsung. Its glass is not protected by corning gorilla glass so if Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo falls accidentaly then there is a chance of its display getting broken easily. There are no dedicated buttons at the side. At the front there is a big menu button, the options and back button are on the either sides of menu button. The size of the battery is small so the device is not that heavy. It is light, small and easy to carry around.
The Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo is loaded with basic 2 MP camera which is really basic. Samsung has not worked much on this section of Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo and loaded it with very basic feature. It is not loaded with flash so you don't have the freedom of clicking the pictures in the dark and at night. Also It is not loaded with front camera so you don't have the liability of using video calling or skype. You can record video's using Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo but the quality of the video is really low.
Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo does not have a very high end display like Samsung Galaxy S4 or HTC One which gives crystal clear images and videos. It is loaded with 3 inch screen which has the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels which gives average display. The good feature of Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo is that inspite of being a low end smartphone it is loaded with capacitive touchscreen which gives a better touch interface than a resistive touch screen.
Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo is loaded with 850 MHz cortex A9 single core processor which manages to give some decent processing speed and performance. Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo is a low end smartphone so the speed and smoothness of the screen interface may be slow compared to high end smartphones like HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 but is average compared to the other smartphones of similar category. Though being a low end smartphone Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo runs on Anroid V4.1.2(Jelly Beans) which gives an amazing speed and UI performance.
Power On It:
Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo is loaded with 1200 mAh Li-ion battery which gives some decent output. It manages to give about 300 hrs of standby time and about 6 hrs of talktime. Compared to the other mobiles having same battery capacity the output of Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo is average. With 1200 mAh battery capacity Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo runs decent apps, games, phonecalls , videos and music player and manages to give average battery life.
All in all Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo is a decent low end smartphone which is loaded with basic features. The only exception which sets it apart is it's OS but even that doesn't have support from other hardware side to give awesome performance. For it's price range you can also check out other smartphones with low but better performance like Lenovo A690 and Celkon A900 .
