The Black 1X is the latest weapon in Xolo’s arsenal, and it is going to launch in India on 6th November. It will be exclusively available on Snapdeal, and at a price of Rs. 9,999/- it brings in a lot of interesting propositions, which I’ll be talking about in this article.
The Xolo Black 1X comes with quite a few exceptional hardware features, which might not be very common in the sub 10k price bracket. Notable of these features is the RAM on this device: A healthy 3GB of RAM on the 1X promises to ensure that multitasking is a breeze.
The internal storage is 32GB, which is further expandable to 128 GB via Micro SD cards. The display is also quite good in this price range, atleast on paper: a 5 inch full HD (1920X1080) display, with a total pixel density of 441 ppi and Asahi Dragontrail protection is the display out here.
Under the hood, the 1X packs an octacore Mediatek MTK-6753 processor, which gives a clock speed of 1.3GHz and 64-bit architecture. The GPU comprises of an ARM MALI T720 which has a clock speed of 450MHz.
Coming to the optics now, the 1X really impresses here, especially if one considers the price of this phone. The rear camera is a 13 MP shooter, while the front one is a 5 MP camera. The battery is a 2400mAh Li-polymer battery, which gives a total standby time (in 3G) of 354 hours.
Xolo has always taken things a step further as far as the UI experience is concerned, and the 1X is no different. The phone features the homebrewed OS: Hive – that has been seen in quite a few Xolo devices in the past. The company promises a more intuitive and intelligent experience this time around, and the software runs over Android 5.1.
Pricing and Availability:
The Xolo Black 1X will go on sale from 6TH November onwards, exclusively on Snapdeal. Prospective buyers will have to register on Snapdeal for the sale, and the phone will be available at Rs. 9,999/-.
At this price, the only phones that offer competition are the Lenovo K3 Note, Yu Yureka Plus and the Redmi 2 Prime. Be willing to shell out slightly more, and you can go with the Mi4i, or the 16GB Mi4 (which probably might be getting a price cut during Diwali). All in all, the Xolo Black 1X might possibly be the game changer for Xolo!
